Overview
Ackworth Parkway is a modern image OO gauge layout, designed as a compact representation of a mainline station with a traction maintenance depot (TMD). Built to showcase our lighting products, it provides an engaging setting for a variety of modern diesel and electric rolling stock.

The layout was professionally constructed in 2019 by The Little Layout Company (with further modification by ourselves) and has since been used for demonstrations, product photography, and enjoyment in my spare time! It has been designed with high-quality components, including PECO concrete-sleeper track and DCC-controlled Cobalt point motors. The layout has been unused for the previous 18months and will require a small amount of TLC to get it back up and running (a small area of scenery needs completing and there's scope to add some lights (that will need powering).

Layout Specifications

• Size: 7ft x 3ft (split into two sections: 2.5ftx3ft & 4.5ftx3ft)

• Track: PECO concrete-sleeper code 75 track with electrofrog points

• Control: Wired for DCC operation with Cobalt digital point motors. Can be supplied with a Gaugemaster Prodigy Advance controller for an additional £75.

• Era & Location: Modern-day, inspired by the East Coast Main Line (ECML) in Northern England

• Station Design: Two-platform mainline station with through running and TMD access

• Platform Lengths:

  • Platform 1: Fits 4x Mk3 coaches

  • Platform 2: Fits 2x Mk3 coaches

  • TMD access designed for 2-car DMUs (max length: 65cm)

  • Installed in station platforms and key structures. Other lights are supplied that require connection to 12v accessory bus.

Delivery/ Collection

This layout cannot be delivered. Collection from the Pontefract area will be required.

The layout consists of -

2x Board sections -  2.5x3x1.5ft & 4.5x3x1.5ft

3x Trestles

1x Lighting Bar - 7ft length

A large SUV or van is recommended

Payment

Payment through the website is possible, however we can also accept bank transfer or payment over the phone.

Cash or cheque upon collection will not be accepted.

Payment on collection by card or bank transfer can be arranged after the payment of a £50 deposit.

The layout will be "sold-as-seen". A period of testing/inspection upon collection will be available if requested, however no after sales warranty or returns will be accepted for the layout given it's custom nature.
